Whispering sweet nothings might seem a little old hat, but at the Whisper Gallery you can whisper a special message to your partner from the other side of the room, and they’ll still hear it over 110 feet away thanks to the cathedral’s excellent acoustics.

Just remember not to whisper anything too naughty as St. Paul’s Cathedral is still a place of worship!

The make the journey from St. Paul’s Cathedral from the Devonshire Hotel Paddington, take the Central line from Lancaster Gate to St. Paul’s. This takes just over twenty minutes.

The West End

A surprise visit to a headlining West End show is a wonderful way to treat someone you love to a night out they’re sure to remember forever. With an array of fantastic shows available seven days a week, there’s sure to be something that you’ll both enjoy.

To reach the West End from the Devonshire Hotel Paddington, simply take the Tube to Oxford Circus using the Bakerloo line which leaves Paddington station every three minutes and gets you to your destination in just eleven minutes.

Just an eleven-minute Tube ride from the Devonshire London Paddington Hotel, you’ll find Kensington Palace Gardens and the beautiful lovers arch.

Created with creeping vines over a metal arch structure, the arch is a beautiful spot away from those prying eyes and makes a beautiful backdrop for a few selfies.

Kensington Palace Gardens itself is full of amazing memorials such as the Prince Albert Memorial commissioned by his wife, Queen Victoria after Prince Albert’s death in 1861 of Typhoid fever. There is also the beautifully manicured Italian Gardens where romance seems to linger in the air.

For history loving couples, you can also visit parts of Kensington Palace during your visit to the gardens and marvel at the history and heritage of the building on your romantic getaway to London.
